Winning Trip to Ennismore
Ennismore Eagles were the home team, soaring off their successful first faceoff when Hudder reached-in and neutralized their flight pattern.
One of the Eagles had trouble stopping in front of the Jet net and had his talons on the Jet's goalie. Bancroft answered back with a snappy assist from Stewart to Hunt, netting one in the Eagle's nest. The Jet's defense man kept their positions at the point, keeping the puck in their end. Well done Brownlee and Hooey. Ennismore tied up the game. Boyd raced around the raptors to send an assist to Cox who shot and snagged his own rebound, off the boards, to score. Remarkable razzle dazzle from Hunt confused the fledglings, during a power play, and put us back in the lead. Boyd scored off an assist, through traffic, from Armstrong. Later, Boyd swooped in with a one-timer while Jets were short handed - again, assisted by Armstrong. Stewart rocketed one to Generick who deftly deflected the puck to Hunt who scored on the winged ones. Armstrong fed Coulas to firm up the scoreboard, 7-2, for Bierworth's bunch. Hooey sent a rocket pass to Paige who descended like a mythical creature for the next short-handed goal. Stewart's next goal opened the third period and Brownlee dug up two more goals for a winning evening in Ennismore.
