• No on-ice activity is permitted until Tuesday, September 7, 2021
• Sanctioned Tournaments are permitted to start on October 8, 2021
• No regular season games during Christmas Break
• All teams must be engaged in meaningful hockey until March 1, 2022; which means new extended length of season
• No league play during March Break
• New League/Provincial championships style tournaments
• League Champions identified by March Break – Specific Date – TBD
• League Championship Events to run over two weekends at five geographical locations disbursed throughout the province
• Similar Provincial Events to run after League championships are finished - Specific Date – TBD

We will share more info as we receive it. As of know we only know the basics, but the plan is to run a fairly "normal" season while following any COVID guidelines laid out locally by everyone's health units and by the governing bodies.

How to Register

Use the link below to access the HCR Registry and create a personal account for your family. If you have ever used on-line registration in the past with BDMHA or another organization you will need to create a new account as they have recreated a new registration portal and website. Those who are new to BDMHA will need to email Lorie Blackburn, our Registrar, first for her to link you to our association first (even if your have played before at another centre.)  [email protected] It is best for a parent to create the account in their name then add the children. The parent who has already completed the Respect in Sport course is best. The link below will take you to Respect in Sport Registration page, where you can take the course if need or look yourself up if you have already. Your information should have been carried over, but if you try to login and have forgotten your username or password simply recover it and continue. Once the system finds you then you can continue to add your children to your profile. The system may automatically start finding your children, if not then click profile, followed by child management, and add children as required. After that is complete click the next link and get them registered to play. You will need to create a sporadic account, then click register, find your children, and register them. We know changes can be difficult but this updated system is going to make all of our jobs much easier going forward, thank you for your patience in this transition.

Register all players in your family, and print receipt. Payment can then be e-transferred to [email protected] with the password “hockey”. Please include your child’s name in the comment field, so we know who the payment belongs to. a Payment plan is available.

Each family must add just ONE Volunteer fee of $60.00, if you have more than one player just add it to your first registration then you are covered.

Your families volunteer fee is refundable after 6 hours of volunteer time with your team or the association.

Please feel free to forward any questions regarding registration or payments to our Association Registrar at [email protected].

One parent per household, per player must complete the mandatory “Respect in Sport” parent program, as well as submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate before the September 1/21. The course only has to be taken once during your child hockey career. Information regarding the respect in sport program can be found on our website under the “LINKS”  tab. The online courses are still being added to the new Registration website. We will let new partents know when the Respect in Sport course is live, and we will update our links at that time. A copy of his/her birth certificate can be mailed to the address above or emailed to [email protected].
