Ontario Government Update
The Ontario Government published the regulations and guidelines regarding the vaccination passports yesterday. The information contained in them directly affects our minor hockey association.
The OMHA is our governing association and has its own policy (released on Sept 3) and has detailed that Covid-19 vaccinations will be required by all members of the associations including players, bench staff, executive, etc.
In light of the province’s regulations announced yesterday, the OMHA will be conducting an emergency meeting to revisit the current policy. We are expecting an announcement from OMHA about any changes to the policy on Monday, September 20th.
When we receive any new direction with regards to the Covid-19 Vaccination Policy we will inform everyone within our association.
