Bantam - Hockey Night in North Hastings
Campbellford Colts trotted upriver, from the Trent, Nov. 8 - to face off for Hockey Night in North Hastings.

This horse and pony show was worth the price of admission.  It was better than a Sudbury Saturday night. Jake Coulas shot to the top for our first goal to start the mane event. Brady Hunt drifted across the Colts net, from the side, then roped an assist to a ready Stewart. 2-0 for the local lads.

Stewart, in position again, posted a goal with a sleek creeper.  He's not just a one-trickler pony. The Colts ponied up their first goal with 6 min. left in the 2nd period, then raised their 2nd a few minutes later.  Some clever Jets' action saw back and forth between Stewart and Genrick, then Hunt bolted in to corral a one timer into Campbellford's haymow. Caleb Grant hammered a sharp shot soon afterward, making it 5:2. Ethan Simpson snagged the 6th, assisted by Genrick. Hunt fought to bring the puck in front of the net and feed Stewart's hat trick. The Colts reigned in another goal for the Cottage Country Cowboys.

Clearly not Bailey Robinson's first rodeo, he did his bit to stall the beasts. Not to be mistaken for the Royal Winter Fair, the Colts would hoof it home with a loss. The Jets were Victor's 7-5, not the horse of course.
