Peewee Leo's Busy Weekend of Hockey
This past weekend the Canadian Tire PeeWee Leo Jets traveled to Warkworth for a late game Friday night.
The first period saw the Wolves scoring two. Jets, Caiden Foster got us started on the scoreboard
in the first period as well. Assists went to Riley Brownlee and Cate Cox. The second period was a repeat
with another two for the Wolves and one more for the Jets. Jets goal was scored by Kayl Sobry, assisted
by Kloe Jessup. The Jets fought hard in the third but it just wasn’t quite enough. The Wolves scored four
more goals. The Jets answered back with two goals, scored by Jayden Fransky and Foster. Assists went
to Sobry, Brownlee and Josh Mills. Final score was 8-4 for Warkworth.
Sunday we were at home and showed a ton of effort in our game against the strong Otonabee Wolves
but came up short, losing the game 8-0.
