Novice Rep Jets Take 1 of 3 Over the Weekend
The Wilson Timber Mart Novice Rep Jets had a very busy hockey weekend, starting on Friday night, when the Jets landed in Stirling for their first match of the season against the Blues.

The busy school week, and some players away put the team in a clear disadvantage, and the Blues never stopped playing, with the game ending with a final score of 6-4 for the Blues.  Brody Harrison scored 3 and an assist on Kieran Cox’s goal.  Other assists to Lucas Peelow and Hope Trotter.

On Saturday, the Jets did their part sporting purple stick tape in support of Child Abuse Prevention at the NHCC.  The Jets hosted the Brighton Braves and powered through to a 4-2 win, the Jets’ third of the season.  The Jets’ Brody Harrison netted all four goals, with assists to Kieran Cox, Jack Peters, and Hope Trotter.

The Campbellford Colts rode into town on Sunday, and were able to handle the home Jets without much trouble.  Goalie Jayden Hughey had a very busy game, and Chloe Hudder netted her first and the Jets only goal, with helpers from Brody Harrison and Mason Gibson.

The Jets get an opportunity for some payback against the Prince Edward County Kings this coming Saturday at home at 3:00pm, so come on out in support of the kids.
