Two more wins and a tie for Vito's Jets
The Vito's Pizzeria Peewee Jets had a full schedule this past week as they hosted the Norwood Hornets and the Otonabee Wolves and then travelled to Tweed to take on the Hawks.

The week started Tuesday night for the Jets as they played host to the Norwood Hornets.  The Jets were first to get on the board on a goal by Colson Jenkins, assisted by Trevor McDowell, and then added three more to take the win by a score 4-2.  Also lighting the lamp for the Jets was Cody Switzer, Keegan Anderson and Tyson Carr. Connor Sobry, Ryker Huygens, Jenkins and Anderson each contributed an assist in the game.  Phillip Cannon and Ben Landry shared the goaltending duties.

On Saturday, the Peewees were at home again to take on the Otonabee Wolves and had no trouble finding the back of their opponent's net on their way to a 10-0 win.  Owen Fergusson struck four times while Jenkins and Sobry each potted two.  Huygens and Brady Hunt also added to the tally with a goal a piece.  Collecting assists on the goals was Carr (2), Anderson (3), Fergusson (2), Todd Redmond, James Armstong, McDowell (2), and Switzer (2).  Landry and Cannon teamed up for the shut out in Jets' cage.

The Peewees took to the road on Sunday afternoon as they made their way to Tweed for an afternoon tilt with the Hawks.  After a scoreless first period, the Hawks jumped out to a two goal lead in the second, but the Jets responded quickly with two goals of their own to tie the game.  The third frame would see the teams exchange scoring chances, but would ultimately decide nothing as the game would end in a 2-2 tie.  Jenkins and Fergusson were the goal scorers for the Jets while Fergusson, Jonathan Young and Anderson (2) provided the helpers.  Cannon looked sharp in net making several key saves.

Next up for the Peewees is another home game on Tuesday, Nov 8th at 7pm as they host the Douro Dukes and then a trip to Campbellford on Saturday, Nov 12th to face the Colts.
