The Vito's Pizzeria Peewee Jets remain undefeated in the regular season after two wins on the road this past weekend.

On Friday night, the Peewees headed to Norwood for a showdown with the Hornets.  The Jets dominated both ends of the rink on their way to a 9-0 win.  Scoring for the Jets was Owen Fergusson, Colson Jenkins (3), Tanner Potts, Connor Sobry (2), Brady Hunt and Keegan Anderson.  Pitching in with the helpers was Anderson (2), Hunt (2), Cody Switzer, Eric Hall (2), Fergusson (3), Potts, Todd Redmond, Sobry (2), Jonathan Young and Trevor McDowell.  Ben Landry and Phillip Cannon each contributed to the shut out as they shared the goaltending duties for the Jets.

The Peewees travelled to Frontenac on Saturday and put together another solid team effort to secure an 11-0 win over the Flyers.  Jenkins, Fergusson, Switzer and Tyson Carr each had two goals in the game while Sobry, Hall and Ryker Huygens added to the tally with one a piece.  Collecting assists on the goals was Potts, Sobry (2), Anderson (2), Jenkins (2), Hunt and Carr.  Landry and Cannon each saw game action and shut down all of the Flyers' scoring opportunities.

The Peewee Jets wouldlike to take an opportunity to thank everyone that contributed bottles and/or provided a donation to the team during their recent bottle drive fundraiser.  The team was overwhelmed with the amount of support they received from the community and were reminded once again why this is such a great place to be!

Next up for the Vito's Jets is two games at home as they host the Norwood Hornets on Tuesday, Nov 1st at 7pm and the Otonabee Wolves on Sat, Nov 5th at 6pm.  Come on out and catch these boys in action! The Peewees will then head out on the road to Tweed on Sunday, Nov 6th to take on the Hawks.
